It can sometimes mean the different between a working and a non-working PC. I just unchecked all that were listed. Problem started happening about 3 weeks ago but i guess i didnt pay much attention to it.
Neken...Wow!! Hibernation is totally off. BTW. I am not having any other system issues. The minimum is 1024 x 768.
Under XP (which I dual boot from) it goes to sleep immediately. You will probably be ok using sleep. While i cannot say this is definately happening, i suspect it is. Hibernation is totally off. BTW.

On Toshiba Laptop need to go back to Win 7 from 10 in Installation and Upgrade Hi, My friend installed the 10 he was offered on his Win 7 Toshiba laptop However THIS time I jiggled the mouse and the PC did in fact wake up! This doesn't have to be adjusted in BIOS per se, but that likely would solve it.
But its kinda not a wanted solution since AHCI is the slighty better configuration for storage. I was able to find the the drivers that were causing the problems. However...At the same time, on some other computer i tryed messing with the power settings in control panel. Awake might not be the proper term here, as I don't know that the PC went to sleep.
So for anyone else experiencing this problem, try these steps. Infact my add/remove programs has 8 things in it.I know your wondering why isnt this under the keyboard thread but its not a keyboard problem.
