There is a couple of articles about how to connect to ad hoc network in Vista, Windows 7. I can see it in the list but when I try to connect it not work. It points to some old firmware in the router or fishy Vista wifi driver. the small window where I decided to connect my laptop. navigate here

Holy crap! HELP !! I can confirm that Linksys WRT54G lower editions do not work with Windows Vista. That is my problem.

TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. The computer is at my son's apartment and I can access it around 4 PM each day.

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I was running XP on my computer until a virus made me wipe the whole thing clean, and Dell gave me the Anyway, my problem is that then when I try to connect, it now asks me for username and password. I did a little troubleshooting before I ran out of time.I set up the router using the the Cisco Connect cd.
