I have further checked this using the little CPU-Z utility (www.cpuid.com) which also suggests that Vista is only seeing one cpu. Sinds 10.5 it could be possible they will also focus on 64 bit version of their iLife apps. I am runing Vista 64-bit, I have DVD, DVD-R, and alot of other gizmo's and gadgets.
Firstly I need to find out if this cpu supports 64 bit.
