You could disable it in the Device Manager, though. What I found was pretty weird. As soon as I remove the USB Driver the spikes go away. Your CPUs may be throttled back due to variable speed settings and thermal issues.
Please let me know if you have any ideas. I need CSGO to feel snappy and responsive, and it doesn't feel like that for me at the moment, and it's like having an itch that you can never scratch. Show 277 replies 1. Last edited: Apr 14, 2016 everyth1ng, Apr 14, 2016 #14 OG buckshot jr likes this.

Changing my latency setting does not appear to solve the issue either. I'll do another Log but this time with Sound card would it be ok if you see what driver gives High DPC this time? I'm going to try installing XP Pro tomorrow and boot with just xp with nothing else running. I've tried disabling all of the USB controllers to see if usbport.sys still shows up high in LatencyMon, and it still does. I bought Traktor Scratch Duo 2 a couple of months ago and its been nothing but trouble. But yeah I would considered this closed now. If they we're to run the game on a well optimized system, replete with CPU resources, I think that they'd find themselves performing MUCH better in game. When I look at LatencyMon while moving my mouse around on the desktop I can see ISR count, DPC count, and total execution time skyrocket for usbport.sys.
